PTK 31: The proven Paus Trailer Crane

At bauma 2025, Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik will be presenting the proven PTK 31, a pioneering solution for roofers and carpenters that redefines flexibility, efficiency and safety.

With an impressive payload of up to 1,600 kg and a maximum extension length of 30.5 m, the PTK 31 masters even the most demanding tasks with ease. Thanks to its innovative folding and telescopic outriggers and small footprint, the crane remains stable and reliable even in confined or uneven locations.

Proven Technology ensures Efficiency and Flexibility

The Paus PTK 31 trailer crane impresses with proven safety technology, including wireless radio-remote control and a clear display, as well as an emission-free 400V electric drive for environmentally friendly use - even in enclosed spaces. Its automatic self-levelling, hydraulic wheel drive and folding and telescopic outriggers ensure maximum efficiency and flexibility, even in tight or uneven spaces.
Paus also focuses on durability: powder-coated, CDP-treated chassis and resource-saving materials ensure a long service life.

In addition to the PTK 31 trailer crane, the PTK XX will also be presented at bauma in April 2025.

PTK XX: The specialist for heavy loads

After Paus presented an initial study of the new trailer crane at bauma 2022, the Emsland-based manufacturer is now bringing the pre-series model of the PTK XX to bauma 2025 to present the innovations to trade and retail professionals.

Maximum lifting capacity

The PTK XX is the latest model in the Paus trailer crane range. It offers an extension length of up to 23 m and can lift loads of up to 2.5 t.

The compact single-axle trailer chassis of the PTK XX is equipped with the powerful Paus wheel drive, which - identical in design to the PTK 31 all-rounder crane - has proven itself a thousand times over.
It can also be used to overcome steep inclines. Paus also underlines its unique selling point with this new development in terms of transport width. As with the PTK 31, the drive-through width is only 2 m, which makes it possible to drive through narrow alleyways and gates, e.g. in backyards or halls, where the competition reaches its limits.

Maximum stability

It is particularly worth mentioning that the boom system of the Paus trailer crane is made of high-strength performance fine-grained steel. The extension chains are protected from mechanical or weather-related influences by being located inside the telescopic boom system. In addition, the boom geometry gives the trailer crane a very smooth extension and retraction of the telescopic system. Paus opted for steel booms for the first time because the material guarantees optimum stability with the lowest possible material input weight.

Components exclusively from well-known suppliers underline Paus' renowned product quality and service life. Last-but-not-least, this fact ensures the high availability of spare parts and service.

In addition to the tried-and-tested PTK 31 trailer crane and the latest PTK XX, Paus will be exhibiting the Easy 18 telescopic elevator, which is popular with rental companies.

City Floh: Powerful, compact and versatile

The telescopic elevators of the City Floh series represent an innovative solution in the field of vertical transportation. With a lifting height of up to 33 m and an impressive payload of 400 kg, they are the perfect choice for professionals in the construction, logistics and trade sectors. The compact machines are mounted on stable carrier vehicles and impress with their robust design, which is supported by the aluminum chequer plate cover over the intermediate frame, among other things. This cover is not only a visual highlight, but also gives the construction additional stability and durability.

A decisive advantage of these models is the maintenance-free rail package, which ensures smooth and durable operation thanks to the use of polyamide skid blocks. This is complemented by double extension ropes, which ensure straight and precise extension of the rails. Additional stability is provided by the double lifting cylinder technology, which safely raises the rail package and thus maximizes safety on site. The sturdy base extension also enables a low loading point, which makes handling heavy loads much easier.

Maximum ease of use and versatility

Another highlight of the City Floh telescopic elevators is the fully hydraulic control of all functions via precise fine control manual valves. This technology ensures particularly easy and convenient operation, even in demanding applications. The standard furniture platform is not only endlessly rotatable, but also retractable and equipped with a quick-release lock, making it particularly flexible and user-friendly.

The City Floh models also offer various drive options that can be selected depending on the area of application. A powerful Honda four-stroke petrol engine ensures reliable and efficient performance. Alternatively, the drive can be provided by the PTO of the carrier vehicle. For environmentally friendly users, a 230-volt electric motor is available, which is ideal for use in low emission zones.

With a lifting height of up to 33 m, an operating radius of 200° and numerous safety features such as automatic carriage zeroing and rope breakage protection, the telescopic elevators in the City Floh series offer a combination of versatility, robustness and easy use. They are a first-class choice for anyone who needs reliable and powerful machines for transportation at height. The City Floh telescopic elevators set new standards and offer innovative solutions for every height access challenge.

Easy 18 telescopic elevator: the most reliable partner for transporting materials

Telescopic elevators are the perfect helpers for transporting heavy loads to existing floors or roofs. The list of advantages of using telescopic elevators is long. Paus telescopic elevators score points with their efficiency wherever construction, renovation, refurbishment or relocation is taking place and transportation to the roof or inside the building seems too costly.

Paus elevators from the Easy series impress with their very compact and robust design. With its narrow drive-through width of just 1.36 m and its low net weight from 750 kg, the Paus Easy can easily enter inner courtyards. Thanks to its low net weight, the elevator can be moved with a simple B driving license. The footprint is minimal due to the foldable drawbar, so that the elevators can also be positioned in small spaces. Thanks to the X-support, Easy elevators are extremely stable and have a long lateral reach. With lifting heights of up to 24 m, materials can also be transported to higher floors or on roofs.

Self-sufficient working
The Easy construction hoists are primarily powered by a 230V electric motor. The Instagrid Powerpack can now also be attached to the telescopic elevators. The Powerpack, weighing just 20 kg, ensures one hundred percent mobility. Thanks to 2.1 kWh, the Powerpack offers sufficient power for a whole day. The Powerpack offers a self-sufficient, noiseless and emission-free energy supply at the touch of a button.

The Emsland-based manufacturer is also presenting its latest innovation in the range of telescopic elevators, the Easy Flex.

Easy Flex: The new generation of the Paus telescopic elevator series

Just in time for the world's largest trade fair for mechanical engineering, the Emsland-based manufacturer Paus is presenting its latest innovation - the Easy Flex, a completely new series of trailer elevators for material handling.

With the new Easy Flex, Paus is setting new standards in terms of efficiency and design. The Easy Flex is the most compact telescopic elevator. Thanks to its exceptionally narrow design of just 1.6 m and a transport length of only 6.7 m, it is the absolute number one in its class with a lifting height of up to 36 m.

Innovative functions for more comfort and safety

The Easy Flex scores with proven comfort and safety features. The reliable X-support of the Easy Big series has been further optimized for the Easy Flex and can now be swivelled and telescoped.
This ensures even better stability and enables different support variants for maximum flexibility.

The retractable drawbar reduces the footprint without any loss of stability.

New standards in user-friendliness and performance

With the Easy Flex, Paus is also setting new standards in terms of operation. In addition to the hydraulic support, the elevator is equipped with a hydraulic slewing ring. This enables simple, intuitive control and safe alignment of the device. Thanks to the precise and sensitive controls, handling is child's play.

Another new feature is the optional hybrid drive. On request, the Easy Flex can be equipped with a 230 V electric drive in addition to the standard petrol engine. This makes it perfect for emission-free and low-noise operation in residential and urban areas. For maximum flexibility, Paus can also supply a power station on request, which ensures that the elevator can be operated independently and electrically - even without an external power source.
