Telescopic elevators equipped with new
For more than 35 years now, customers all over the world regard Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH as an innovative manufacturer of aluminium telescopic elevators. The product range covers construction and furniture elevators with hoisting heights of 44 m and payloads up to 400 kg. The machines are available as trailer-mounted variant and also mounted on carrier vehicles with an assembly weight varying from 1 to 4 tons.
In order to meet the growing demands of the market, PAUS and the technical college in Osnabrück developed an all new and future-oriented drive unit for the range of lifting equipment.
Until now, the 230 V electro-drive could merely transport payloads up to a maximum of 250 kg at quite slow hoisting speed.
With the ECO-POWER-LIFT-SYSTEM (EPLS) by PAUS, the machines can now easily cope with payloads up to 400 kg achieving hoisting speeds which are similar to the ones when using combustion engines.
EPLS is an intelligent combination of an ordinary 230 V power supply and storage batteries that are switched on if the need arises, providing together a high energy output for the drive unit.
Besides the low power requirements compared to combustion engines, the EPLS achieves a considerable noise reduction. In that way, work in noise-reduced places – like pedestrian precincts – can be done without problems. Furthermore, operation in enclosed spaces is easily possible with this new and silent drive unit.
Equipped with the ECO-POWER-LIFT-SYSTEM, the telescopic elevators may temporarily also be operated by means of battery drive. If only few loads have to be lifted, it is possible to do it completely without the 230 V power supply connection.
On the truck series City-Floh and City-Truck, EPLS can be added to the auxiliary drive of the carrier vehicle and to the drive via industrial engine respectively. Consequently, the user may choose between different drive variants in one machine.
