Company History

Company HistoryAt the beginning there was the idea ...

In 1968 it was rapidly realized. On 23rd October 1968, the foundation deed for the company premises of Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH was signed.

In 1969 the first machine could be shown on the BAUMA in Munich and first contacts to later customers were made.

1970 The development made progress! So, the first Paus Wheel Loader was presented to the public.

In 1971 a second type followed which was already equipped with hydrostatic drive.

In 1974 the marketing area was extended and the development of vehicles for the mining and tunnelling sector started.

1977 The development of variously applicable telescopic elevators for roofers completed the range of production of H. Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH.

In 1980 H. Paus Maschinenfabrik developed the first flameproof trackless vehicles which were used in the Germany coal mining first and later on even worldwide.

In 1984 working platforms in telescopic and joint-telescopic design - in trailer-mounted version and truck-mounted version - filled up the range.

1987 After the positive response to the building elevators designed in 1977, the removal elevators - especially designed for the requirements of removal companies - were launched to the market.

1990 With the development of compact forklifts coping with carrying capacities up to 35 tons, H. Paus Maschinenfabrik in 1990 once more proved its versatility and know-how.

In 1996 H. Paus Maschinenfabrik Paus brought out a WORLDWIDE NEW DEVELOPMENT: the Paus MultiTELEStar which combines a self-propelled working platform and standard telescopic-swivel loader in one machine.

2002 Handing over of the business to the sons Franz-Josef and Wolfgang Paus who are acting as managing directors of the company since that time.
