Company History  At the beginning there was the idea ...
In 1968 it was quickly implemented. On 23rd October 1968, the foundation deed for the company premises of Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH was signed.
1969 The first machine was presented at the BAUMA in Munich and first contacts to later customers were made.
1970 Development continued! The first PAUS Wheel Loader was presented to the public; one year later a second type followed which was equipped with hydrostatic drive.
In 1974 the sales area was enlarged and new vehicles for the mining and tunnelling sector were designed.
1975 Telescopic elevators for roofers completed the product range of Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
In 1979 PAUS developed the first trackless vehicles in flameproof version.
1983 The new administrative building in Siemensstraße was opened.
1984 Working platforms in telescopic and joint-telescopic design - as trailer-mounted version and truck-mounted version – completed the product range.
1987 After the positive response to the construction elevators developed in 1977, furniture elevators meeting the special requirements of removal companies were introduced to the market.
1990 PAUS once more proved its versatility and know-how in 1990, by designing compact forklifts with carrying capacities up to 35 tons.
1996 PAUS launched a WORLDWIDE INNOVATION: the PAUS MultiTELEStar which combines a self-propelled working platform and a standard telescopic-swivel loader in one machine.
1998 PAUS enlarges the mining product range by LHD-Loader varying from 1.2 m³ to 3.0 m³ (PFL 12, PFL 18 and PFL 30).
2000 Hall 7 was opened for production by which the roofed production area was enlarged to 15,050 m².
In 2001 a representative office was established in Moscow.
2002 Handing over of the business to the sons Franz-Josef and Wolfgang Paus acting as managing directors of the company since that time.
In 2003 PAUS Chile Ltda. was founded as distribution and service company based in Santiago de Chile. Shareholders of this company are Mr. Rodrigo Torrealba and Messrs. Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
2005 The new aluminium trailer crane PTK 30 “SkyWorker” was introduced to the clientele of roofers. By end of 2006, this machine would as well be available equipped with working platform.
2006 The range of wheel loaders was revised resulting in the new types RL 655, RL 855, SL 655 and 755 as well as TL and TSL 855.
